About BLD PNW
BLD PNW is the largest gathering of Certified B Corporations in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The event is organized by the B Corp community, for the B Corp community. By inspiring and connecting B Corps in the Pacific Northwest and their teams, we build a stronger movement to use business as a force for good. This is our 5th annual BLD PNW, and these events have become the premier professional development and networking event for the local B Corporation business community; and we can continue to reach a broader audience and be more inclusive by continuing to host with a virtual format.
This year’s theme - BLD Transformation
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused enormous uncertainty and lost revenue for businesses; job loss and instability for individuals and families; and overall disconnect and loneliness as people balance the necessities of community health with the hunger for interpersonal connection. In this year’s conference we’ll explore the role B-Corps have in leading our communities out of this crisis. We’ll talk about how we can set new standards for racial equity, climate justice, and economic inclusivity and what we can do to be brave leaders, willing to take our own risks in order to build a stronger future. There is a need to transform the way we do business, and the way we step up and lead. The goal for these two days is to motivate you, even more than you already are, to do your part to transform towards change.
